6 Hours at Woodstock

The Course is approximately 11 miles of the northern trails of Woodstock. 

Trails are well maintained

Expect a few small rock gardens and log-overs all of which can be ridden by experienced riders or could be walked around by newer beginner riders

All racers will be able to refuel near the start/finish area each lap, there will be one water stop on the course so be prepared with adequate water and fuel while on the race loop.

Lap times are expected to range between 50 and 90 minutes based on skill level.

General Information:
100% of our race proceeds benefit MORE (Mountainbike Off-Road Enthusiasts) and the Maryland SPCA

Staging will be located on the former county dump site at the end of Furman Lane just west of Hernwood Road. Parking will be located at this facility as well.

Exact directions to the property will be provided at the time registration closes.

No stakes (wooden or metal) or any other material is able to go in the ground. This includes stakes for tents. Please plan accordingly. Anyone found having put something in the ground will be relegated to last place.

Mass start at 10:00 am

ace day packet pickup and registration will begin at 8:15am and close at 9:30 am.

Race day registration will be available from 8:15am - 9:15 the morning of the race for $100. T-Shirts can not be guaranteed for race day signup. Race day registration is payable by cash only and will close at 9:15 sharp.

Additional Details

No Refunds. Category changes are made at no additional cost. Registrations can be transferred for a $15 fee. This fee will be waived in the event of postponement due to the weather.

No smoking on premises. It is approximately a 2 minute drive to get back to Furman Lane for any spectators (or racers) that may smoke.

There will be a podium ceremony with awards and a cash payout for most categories at the completion of the race. Please note that food will also be available at no additional cost.

Weather Policy: This race will proceed if there is light rain. If there is heavy rain preventing us from using the trail system the race will be delayed 1 week until June 19th.
