**All races begin at 10:00 AM on Saturday, April 16**
The Race
4 hour Cross Country Marathon race on fun yet challenging 9 mile course. All riders and categories start together, and the person who completes the most laps in 4 hours is the winner! (Riders cannot begin a new lap after the 4 hour mark, but many will be out on course when that time elapses and be racing for over 4 hours)
Why
Every year, students at Miller School of Albemarle dedicate service hours to expanding the amazing network of campus trails on the school's scenic 1600 acre campus. The miles of trails and unigue cycling-specific features have progressed to the point that they can not possibly be showcased in a traditional 3 to 5 mile cross country race format. The Conquer the Hill course highlights many of the best trails, with special attention on the newest creations. A portion of the proceeds from this event will go towards supporting the Miller School of Albemarle Campus Trails program and help in the creation of more great trails and trail features!
The Run Down
Online registration opens Wednesday, February 24and closes Friday, April 15 at 8:00 PM. Day-of registraion is availabe for an additional $5.00 late fee.
We plan to open the course for pre-riding on Friday, April 15. Check our facebook page for times and details. *Please keep in mind that the course is located on private property and not open to ride at other times*
The Course
We will update the course maps and profiles here and on the facebook page as soon as they are finalized. Expect flowing singletrack, challenging climbs, stream crossings, and great views. Additions from last year include a new, machine-built descent with multiple bridges and numerous berms, as well as a series of 4 wood wall-rides!

Getting There
The Miller School of Albemarle is located just 15 minutes west of Charlottesville, VA at the foot of the Blue Ridge Mountains.
